1) Learn how to write a response to a complaint (page 8-11).

2) Do Task 1, Task 2 and Task 3 (page 11-13)

3) Read the letters of complaint (page 13-17) and write what solutions wwere found in each case.

4) Using the replies to the letters of complaint given on page 13-17  as models, write a reply to the letter of complaint from the company about the quality of your purchase or the service you were dissatisfied with.

Homework

1) Read the text «How to Write a Letter of Complaint» and answer the questions (exercise 1, page 1-3)

2) Read the letters of complaint and write out the reason for complaint for each letter (page 3-8).

3)  Answer the questions (exercise 3, page 8).

  1. When was the last time you were dissatisfied with a purchase or service?
  2.  What did you buy or what service did you use? Why weren’t you satisfied?
  3. Did you do anything about it (did you complain to the company or firm about the low quality of your purchase or their service?
  4. Do exercise 4, page 8 (write a letter of complaint).
